Sorry for the delay again folks.
After unexpected delays and a knee injury we have decided to continue our trip at a later time due to our current time constraints. We will be heading to Nicaragua in July and fear trying to push across the rest of Nevada, Utah, Colorado, Kansas and back into St Louis would be difficult at any pace, but irrational at this time.
If you would like to follow us when we continue our journey please send us your email and we will inform you when we start again.
Thanks for all of your support.

“When traveling it is important to keep in mind when asking for directions that one man’s half mile is another man’s 5 miles. It is equally important to remember that one man’s left turn is the wrong way! Ah yes, good ole life lessons.”
I found this to be true as well. The distance thing anyway, luckily I didn’t have too many wrong turns. I’ve been back home for about two weeks and am still trying to adjust to “reality.” What do you do when your internal world is shaken up entirely, but life at home is the same? I made it to Mountain Justice Camp and saw my first mountaintop removal site. Wrapped it up with the rally at Ison Rock Ridge in Appalachia, VA. I stood listening with tears running down my cheeks during the speeches, and didn’t bother to wipe them away. Just did my follow up interview with Allegheny Mountain Radio today. My favorite questions that I will pass onto you both, how has this trip changed you? What was the biggest surprise? How has your trip differed from what you imagined?
Would you mind sending me the address to where your final destination is? I’d like to send you that book we spoke of over lunch. Tell Jeremiah, I’ll slip something cool in there for him as well. Wishing you the best, from coast to coast.
